Great fun for kids and adults alike. Dig out some fruit and veg and get printing.
For this simple activity you’ll need:
A selection of fruit and vegetables cut into pieces
Paint
Paintbrushes
Plastic plates to use as printing trays
Paper
We chose a variety of fruit and vegetables to use for our printing. The boy and the girl helped cut the vegetables up. We also took little tastes and talked about how to spell the names.
Rolling corn on the cob in paint was a favourite.
Corn on the cob rolling.
Corn on the cob ends and carrot middles.
Broccoli trees.
Runner beans and french beans made some really nice patterns.
The painted vegetables looked just as good as the prints.
