We used one of Bristol’s brilliant free magazines, Crumbs, which has beautiful food photographs (not to mention great recipes) and is printed on non glossy paper.
Once I’d finished reading the magazine I cut out pages and shapes.
I drew face templates on pieces of A4 paper.
We didn’t glue anything down to start with, just enjoyed rearranging hair, hats and faces.
These would make great birthday cards.
Cut out colourful images from magazines.
Draw a face on plain paper.
Cut around shapes and colours from the magazine pages.
Play around with positions and make funny faces, hats and hair-dos.
