Kaleidoscopes

Make your own kaleidoscope with a cardboard tube.

This science meets art activity is lots of fun.

Here’s Buggy and Buddy’s tutorial we used.

Mylar, card stock, cardboard tube, glue and scissors.

Make a mylar and card triangle tube to fit inside the cardboard tube.

It fits!

Draw circles on white card and poke a hole through the middle.

Decorate the circle with colourful patterns. Attach the circle with a trimmed bendy straw and tape.
