Monster chocolates, spider chocolates and monster chocolate bark.
Melted chocolate, food colouring and lots of decorations. Kids had lots of fun making these.
Use a plastic plate or flexible plastic chopping board to make the chocolates on, then once they’re set they’ll be easy to get off.
Sainsbury’s Basics chocolate bars are only approx. 35p each. Brilliant value.
Food colouring. Melt the chocolates and colour the white chocolate different colours.
Green monster chocolate. Start with a big dollop of milk chocolate. Plop a smaller dollop of coloured white chocolate on top.
Drag out the edges with a skewer to make monster arms.
Once the chocolate is set, add white chocolate buttons and chocolate beans to make eyes. I used glace icing as glue.
Spider chocolates. Use white chocolate for the base and dark chocolate for the body. Drag out 8 legs and use a chocolate button for the head.
Monster chocolate bark. Put big dollops of chocolate onto a plastic plate.
Use a skewer to marble the chocolate.
Cover the chocolate with sweets and chocolates. We used mint Aero, chocolate buttons and chocolate beans.
Once set, cut up. It won’t last long!
