Food meets art and it’s yummy!
One of the girl’s favourite things to do with flour tortillas is turn them into snowflakes with her teeth!
So we took it one step further and decided to make snowflakes encrusted with sugar and cinnamon (and we used scissors to cut them out this time!).
All you need is:
Flour tortillas
Melted butter
Sugar
Cinnamon
Scissors
Baking tray
Preheat the oven to 200C.
Fold a tortilla in half.
Fold the half into thirds to make a tortilla triangle.
If it’s easier for little hands, fold the tortilla into quarters.
Cut into the triangle to make the snowflake ‘arms’.
Unfold and lay on a baking tray.
Brush the snowflake with melted butter then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake in the oven for 5 – 7 minutes until golden brown.
Eat them up!
