Head down to the DIY shop and get some paint swatches.

We had lots of fun playing and sorting, reading the colour names and making up new ones.

Sort them all out into colour groups.

As you sort, use the colour names to practise reading and then make up your own. Talk about what colours look like or how they make us feel.
