Make a spooky jam jar lantern for Halloween.
Ghouls, ghosts, pumpkins and monsters, oh my!
Save some jam jars from the recycling box and turn them into colourful lanterns to use over and over again.
What you’ll need:
Jam jars of different sizes
PVA glue
Paintbrushes and pot
Coloured tissue paper
Glittery card or black card
Scissors
Marker pen
Battery operated tea light
What to do:
Cover the outside of a jam jar with PVA glue.
Stick small pieces of tissue paper all over.
Add another layer of PVA glue on top.
Cut face feature shapes out of glittery or black card.
Stick onto the tissue covered jam jar.
Leave to dry (overnight will do it).
Place a battery operated tea light inside and you have a spooky lantern for Halloween!
